Karen Hadjitofi

Karen Hadjitofi was born in Glasgow, and, as a student, attended the Glasgow School of Art where she qualified with a BA Honours in Graphic Design. She has worked in graphic design and in framing. She has raised her family in Aberdeen where she has lived since 1993. In recent years she has rekindled her passion for drawing and painting.

Working in a variety of mediums, she captures the patterns, colours and ever changing light of the merging seasons. Her paintings are often inspired by the local landscapes around Aberdeen and also East Lothian where she is a frequent visitor.
