'Littoral'

'Littoral' is the name given to the specific coastal region where land and sea meet.

This body of work was made after walking the coastline, making sketches, observing the layers of sea mist, cloud and haze and the effect they have on the Firth of Forth throughout the seasons.

Trenches caused by the tidal flow in the estuary create a fascinating pattern across the land at the edge of the  bay.
